Debbie is a native of Merritt Island, FL and moved to South Carolina in 1982. She is a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University with a degree in accounting. Debbie has over 40 years of experience in the business and real estate fields and has worked at Merrell, Jahn & McDuff, P.A. for 25 years. In her free time, Debbie enjoys scrapbooking, reading, playing with her grandkids and knitting. Debbie now resides in the city of Chesnee with her husband, Phil.
Zana Hicks

Zana grew up in Walhalla, SC. She received her associate degree in paralegal from Greenville Technical College in 1997. She worked for two years as a real estate paralegal then took a career move to commercial banking for 15 years. Zana found her way back to law and currently assists Attorney McDuff with estate planning, probate and civil litigation. In her free time, Zana enjoys running, training for marathons, reading and cheering on the Clemson Tigers. Zana now resides in Seneca with her husband, two children and their Yorkshire Terrier.
Denise Lusk

Denise is a native of Walhalla, SC. She has 24 years of experience in the legal field, primarily in the area of real estate. She has worked 21 of those years at Merrell, Jahn & McDuff, P.A., except when she stepped away briefly to try the teacher lifestyle. She taught kindergarten for a few years before finding out she was not cut out for the teaching life! Denise is very thankful that God provided the opportunity so many years ago to work with such a wonderful group of people, so she quickly returned to the firm after her teaching adventure. Denise has been married to her husband, Judson, for 40 years and they have two sons, Chad and Josh. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, but especially her pride and joy in life: her grandchildren. She has four grandchildren, ranging from 10 months old to 12 years old.
Brandy Hunter

Brandy grew up in Greenville and Easley, SC. She lived in Germany for seven years with her husband and daughter while her husband served in the military. While living in Germany, she obtained her first degree in Associate of Arts from the University of Maryland University College. In 2018, Brandy received her second degree in Associate of Applied Science with a major in Paralegal Studies from Greenville Technical College. In December 2019, Brandy obtained her Certified Paralegal (CP) credentials after successfully passing the NALA Certification Exam. Brandy has been with MJM Law, LLC, since July of 2021. She assists Mr. Merrell with all probate and estate planning. In her free time, Brandy enjoys spending time with her family, reading and yoga. Brandy now resides in Easley with her husband, daughter and two rescue dogs.
